i put this game off for like 4-5 months or smth just rotting in my download folder (i didnt even know there was a first game cus i deadass forgot everything abt this page) and oh my god this is peak fiction please play it, theres so much soul in this project i literally dont like rpg games and im out here typing this out telling u this could be a game worth playing
its not that long but thats ok, the combat is great i luved it not sayin anything but id heavily encourge to think abt ur battles espically with ur mp, item and spell usage (dw its nothing too hard but it is def a challenge at points to keep ur noggin running)
9/10 not 10/10 bc they dissed my goat ps pumpis i swear to fucking god count ur days
Love the game! Though, I think I found a major bug in New Game+. (MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THE FINAL ZONE IN NEW GAME+)
For some reason rather than having his own skills like the rocktitan says, Mr. O has the abilities of the rest of the characters instead. This makes the arena section far harder (maybe impossible? idk I might just be bad) as you lack Reload, meaning you're stuck with 40 MP for each arena. I'm unsure how this bug was triggered sadly...
Hi! this bug happens when you use a save file from before the update, the newgame+ savefile that comes with the game fixes this issue, sorry for the troubles.
Very nice game, good enough to make me want to comment. SPOILERS DO NOT READ UNLESS YOU WANT TO. My favorite character was Swagathor probably. Chronos spooked me good when I beat new game+ before going back to do the secret content. I also didn't realize I wasn't supposed to beat swagathor when I beat him. The mugen characters fight and the ytp fight were pretty good, and the characters for them were good. I'd keep those two if you could get away with it, I really liked their whimsy. Also I was not expecting fiddlebert in the bar. I did immediately recognize the entrance to the ice area referencing Space Funeral, and later seeing leghorse and Phillip was funny. I wish there had been more dev notes in New game+. Also more stuff to do with the debugger. I was also wondering if there would be a surprise encounter in the flickering bathroom à la uboa appearing in yume nikki. Well I suppose I could keep talking about how much I enjoyed the game and my experience but I'll cut it short here. I really enjoyed all of it though truly
One of the most charming little games i've played from an itch.io page
Its around 2+ hours of content, pretty decent combat for an rpg maker game all things considered, and great writing and characters. It does not take itself seriously and is a blast to play through. Tons of good content to explore and even a New Game+ with dev commentary once you complete the game
It does have a lot of references to Super Ass Fuck RPG so if you want the full experience play that first (or watch vinny's vod like i did).
This is an absolute must play if you've already played/seen the super ass fuck rpg and improves on it immensely. Definitely worth your time clicking the download button, extracting from the .zip, searching the .exe file, and playing
I wish AssFuck Studios good luck on their next projects
Took me fuckin' long enough. Minor spoilers, do not read if you're new or vinny, actually if you're vinny you should just click the download button and start streaming.
Honestly, there isn't a lot I can say that no player wouldn't get from their own playthroughs, well...I can tell you to go play the game (which if you haven't you shouldn't be reading this anyways).
The combat is very engaging and fleshed out (though easy (and it's kinda funny that Pissstain is the strongest one)), with the new abilities and slightly increased difficulty encouraging a bit more strategy than SAFR (though, again I think it'd have been for the better if the game was harder).
The art is diamonds for sore eyes and the character designs are so incredibly creative, I can't fault any part of this game for being visually boring.
I think the game really outshines itself over Assfuck with the more balanced comedy and narrative (with the comedy being better and more plentiful yet still well paced), and it succeeds at making me take the story and moral seriously.
Quick applause for the OST, bops.
